The clam chowder was soured. Service was horrible. Took way to long for our appetizer and entrees to arrive. Inside looks casual but tables set for higher end place. Very high priced. We will not be going there again.

Food was good, atmosphere at these prices not good at all. The place is a shack. Plus, some oddly expensive items on the menu: side of grilled onions? $7.95. WHAT? This is not some famous steak house.

My husband & I had dinner last night. Andrea was our server and was very attentive and helpful. He had the Oysters Bernice, really good! I had the regular cut prime rib and salted potato w/ house salad. All was delicious though the salad was over dressed. He had Caesar (too much parm) but came with anchovies which he loves and not over dressed. He also had the Grouper Provencal and was happy. Wine was fairly priced and I've eaten at the Chop House on 5th, for the money I'd come here 1st in a heartbeat!! We are moving here permanently and glad we found our new favorite restaurant! Great first visit! Wait was about 20 minutes for the two of us. Server was friendly & knowledgeable. I ordered the Chicken Scallywag ($15.95 with house or caesar & your choice of potato or veg) and would definitely order it again- it was excellent! It was stuffed with pork, sage, wrapped in a puff pastry, topped with a pan gravy. My boyfriend had the NY Strip Steak ($24.95 with house or caesar & your choice of potato or veg) cooked medium... It was cooked perfectly and had great flavor! No salt, no pepper needed. Sweet potato gratin was very good as well. SN: The woman at the table in front of us had a fish dish... Said she wasn't satisfied. Will return for sure! Note to self: Next time, try lunch!

Ehhh overpriced food for the location. Better off going to five guys.

the food at lunch was great and fairly priced. The ambiance was lacking and the room was smokey from the grill.

Love this restaurant! Have eaten here at least a dozen times. It is always consistent, steaks are amazing and service is superb.

I loved Scallywags when it first opened. Then they closed to remodel. Good remodel, but the food is no longer up to par. There were many choices for burgers, they have taken most choices off. Chips were homemade, now they are from a bag, served in a coffee cup! I had the pulled pork, it was watery, and warm, not hot. Sent it back. The barbecue sauce is a very weak, tasteless liquid. Will never order that again. The food is on a steady decline, but not the prices. I am very disappointed. The waitress did not give me change, she rounded my bill up to 52 cents more. She said she did not have any quarters. If my bill came and I was .52 cents short, could I have just shrugged it off and say I didn't have the money? Doubt it.. What a shame, they did have a good thing going. Just order the burgers, they are great...

Had lunch with friends. Had a short 10 minute wait outside. Had a burger that was very tasty and more than met my expectations. Staff was professional and upscale from the usual burger establishment. The facility itself seemed on the inadequate side: small dining room with only a few tables. Had a concern in that I felt the kitchen must be very small and perhaps not up to proper means for food preparation. Overall I will return for a second.look because my lunch was delicious and service great.

Burger w/ bacon, avacado, a shallot-vinaigrette salad, & a fried freakin' egg on top--- what's not to love about that?? Burger was fantastic, if way under-seasoned, but the toppings on the bistro burger was awesome enough to carry it, I'll be back to check out the steaks for dinner! The ambience was way off, had casual & whimsical wall hangings, a fun wooden menu that stands like a sign on your table (loved that) but had tea-room type piano music playing on their sound system & the waiters were dressed way too stuffy to fit a lunch joint on the east trail ( I went for lunch, maybe dinner is a fancier affair?) This place has no idea what it wants to be :-( All in all, I would go back, the price was right & the burger was awesome, but this place needs to figure out which way they want the wind to blow in their house to set the mood... the vibe is off, but has potential to be a great hot-spot. Crud, forgot about the hostess who open-mouthed coughed her brains out all over the tables she was resetting, (that was awesome) & her 2 seperate visits from dudes wanting a hug & complaining about their finances in the dining room, that was akward until the burger came, then I ignored the negative, it's a new place with great food, will be back!

Had been hearing about this restaurant so we thought we'd try lunch. Burgers were excellent, served with kettle type chips. Waitress recommended "duck fries" (fried in duck fat & "healthy" we were told ) Lol...very good but too much food! Their dinner menu looked wonderful, will make dinner our next visit. Good service, Prices typical for Naples, beer a bit pricey at $6

A year after our first disappointing visit, we gave Scallywags another try. The result was very good indeed. The service was a little slow despite the fact that the restaurant was largely empty, but it was smooth and pleasant. The food remains impressive. Oysters Bernice, a house specialty, was exciting. As was the case last year, the Caesar salad was the real deal right down to the anchovy. What a treat! My prime rib was perfectly prepared and terrifically seasoned. The Yorkshire pudding, absent last year, was light and airy, crispy on the outside and pleasantly pudding-like on the inside. My fellow diners had filet mignon and they were all very satisfied. The sweet potato au gratin came in for special praise. All in all, it seems that Scallywags has gotten it's act together. That's good news indeed.

We arrived here around 6pm on a Monday & it was full of seniors. I know they like to eat early, but I thought to myself "this must be good." Sat down at a table & the disinterested server came up to get our drink order & then left. The menu has a lot of options, but the prices seem high for what you're getting. I ordered the fish sandwich that came with "homemade potato chips." If the potato chips were homemade, it was in the home of Frito-Lay. The fish sandwich was huge, but wasn't anything to get excited about. It was a breaded fish filet that fell apart very easily. The only thing I enjoyed was the calamari appetizer.

We went for a birthday dinner sat night, party of 8. The waitress was non plussed at our arrival. We ordered drinks and waited some more. Two in our party ordered the pulled pork sandwiches but 5 minutes later she told us it was 86d. 5 minutes later, he's told his 2 choice is now gone too. Crappy service, with an obvious attitude that miraculously changed when she got a good tip. The guy who had his 3 choice dinner received his meal long after the rest of us. So, the food was really good, the house salads Awesome! Portions engineered for leftovers, but the staff appeared harried and overwhelmed. But the place is tiny, and it didn't seem necessary to be in the weeds. All told. I would return, but if I encountered the same service it would be my last visit.
